CSIM (HP-35 emulator) ported to Palm OS (again)
Message #1 Posted by Jonathan Purvis (New Zealand) on 1 Sept 2003, 5:14 a.m.

Hi,

I have once again ported CSIM to Palm OS. Currently it's only emulating the HP-35. I hope to add emulation of the HP-45 soon and the HP-55 when i've drawn the buttons for it. You can download it from http://one-two-three-four-five.com/palm/csim/csim-0.3-alpha-1.prc. If someone could download it and tell me if runs on their Palm that would be much appreciated. I have only tested it on my Treo 270 (Palm OS 3.5).

To avoid problems like last time (my hard disk died and i lost the source), i have included the C source code (compressed with gzip) as resource 'c.gz' number 1. Use something like par to extract it.

Regards,

Jon

It works in my Palm M515, OS 4.1 and also in my Palm Tungsten C (OS 5.2.1) running from a SD card. I have only tried "Calculator forensic" arcsin (arccos (arctan (tan (cos (sin (9) ) ) ) ) ), the answer match the one listed for the HP-35 v3 at Mike Sebastian's data base.

Runs fine on my oldie Vx, OS4
