windows driver for hp82240 printer

does anyone knows one driver for printing thru pc/windows/ir to an 82240 printer? of from a pocketpc pda?

that will not work because of hardware reasons. On most PC hardware the Ir transmitter is somehow directly connected to an UART. This UART cannot be programmed to use the HP82240 Redeye protocol or have the ability to control the Ir-LED directly. So IMHO some sort of special hardware is necessary. But in this case you can also make an intelligent interface with a standard interface (COM, LPT, USB) transmitting data in the HP Redeye protocol. I don't know if someone made something so far.
