batteries, need more batteries! Message #1 Posted by christof (NoVA US) on 29 Aug 2003, 4:27 p.m. Anyone know the best sources for: silver oxide sr44 type batteries? Hi cap rechargeable N, AA, AAA, and subC alkaline N cells? Preferably online or phone order. -Christof

Just bought a 1700 mAh sub-C pack for my 97 for less than $12! Let me know if you need help figuring out the correct part number for battery packs.

Have purchased batteries from them and was satisfied with price and quick delivery.

I think they also make a cheap SR44. For alkaline "N" cells, try Home Depot! For rechargeables try your local battery store (Batteries Plus, Batteries Etc). Frys sometimes has NiMH AA cells for super cheap. Also Harbor Freight Tools puts NiCads on sale for ridiculous prices. I always have my battery store rebuild packs. They do all the work, properly weld the cells together, and recycle the old cells.
