copying 9815 tapes

Can someone give me and my partner in crime some beta on how to copy one of the "general utilities and test routines" tapes that hp supplied with the 9815 ? She says : "There are a mix of regular and binary programs on the tape which (I think) are impossible to copy -- at least I don't know how. Most (all?) of the regular programs cause binary programs to be loaded in order to do their thing. So just copying the regular programs doesn't work (I've tired it).
Also: does anyone have all three of these tapes?
