Cheap 41CV on eBay
Message #1 Posted by gifron on 31 July 2003, 4:18 p.m.

Anyone need a cheap 41CV? "The unit is in good to great cosmetic condition with a small scratch here or there. All buttons, knobs, and switches are good and intact." I thought about buying it for parts, but I think the pictures tell the real story though.

That reminds me... I need to go clean the knobs on my collection.... wouldn't want to catch something from a dirty knob!

(Now, once again... the knobs are... where?)

I bought a few things from that guy and he seems OK to me. He sells mostly test equipment and I think that text including "knobs" is a little boilerplate that he's used to putting in every auction listing.

He does have quite a bit of negative feedback. I have bought a couple things from him before without too much problems. I know some others who thought that item condition was greatly overstated. I think the picture tells the story.

That thing looked positively scary! Good to great cosmetic condition. I would hate to see poor cosmetic condition from this bidder. But at least he didn't have a pic of a museum calc on his auction.
