I wonder what's going on. Have you been able to access this e-account?

I'm able to connect to the mail server at earthlink.net from here. Where did that error message come from? It looks like it could be a DNS problem at your ISP.

That does look to me like it's a problem at quantica.com.br (or their upstream DNS). I would send a message to their support address and see what they say.

I just sent you a test email; we'll see if you received it. In case you don't, my theory is that the Internet still has quite a few wrinkles to be ironed out. For example, once in a while I come across an interesting link on a web page, click on it, only to be told that the server isn't found. The funny thing is that if I try again two hours later (or two days later) there is no problem. This sort of situation arises when attempting to access web sites in Europe or Asia (not all -- not even most of them, but enough to draw some form of generalization).

It seems taht somewhere our providers have no link to close the chain. Weird...
