Hey you all, North-Americans!

Take care with the fireworks...

Congratulations! As we celebrate ours, I think Independence Days must be celebrated everywhere. And USA's is know by almost everybody.

In Brazil we celebrate ours in September, 7th.

Luiz, in Canada we celebrated ours on July 1st.

Unfortunately, ours fell on a Tuesday, which meant no long weekend for us :(

Happy Independence Day to everyone south of the border!

I like firecrackers and smoke pots. They are fun for stuffing into mailboxes and old plastic models.

And they fit so nice into the battery slots of those Kinpo HP calculators.

Then you light fuse, and get away.

Thanks all of you for the kind words…

My wife, my son, one of his friends, and I and 13,000 other baseball fans spent the evening watching the Fresno Grizzlies (AAA) defeat the Tuscon Sidewinders 6-5 in the 10th inning. After the game we were treated to a 40 minute fireworks show that is the about the best I have even seen.

It's hot outside, so I think I'm going to jump in the pool.

Fred
