10B Message #1 Posted by Stan(Sg) on 22 June 2003, 4:47 p.m. I came across HP 10Bs on closeout today at Walmart. The blister packs were quite dusty and priced at $20 each. There were two types. One with yellow shift functions and the other with dark green (hard to read) colored shift functions. Any thoughts on these algebraic models? Are they worth $20? What did they retail for when they were produced?

Add shipping costs and I'd say $20 is quite reasonable, if you're in the market for one. I only bought one to have an example in my collection. I doubt that I'll ever use it.

It`s low end and algebraic, I know, but it`s quite impressive anyway. It`s from that distant time when HP knew how to do it.

Buy some more if you have the desire for resale, the price wanders a bit on eBay, but I have seen them go for $30+ New In The Package. Anything HP of good quality is only going up in value, even if it is algebraic.
