Another 12c platinum bug from c.s.hp48
Message #1 Posted by Gene on 4 June 2003, 4:47 p.m.

I can confirm this happens on my beta unit. Tony's 12cp is a production unit (I believe). This is not a good sign. Very strong indication of very little beta testing to have this type of thing happen. Once you go beyond 253 program steps, no GTO in the first 253 steps work any longer.

I only got the unit 8 weeks before it was live, so it's not my fault. :-)

In 20 years, these early Platinums with the bugs will be highly sought after collector's items!

20 years? If these new units last 20 years, then I'm Bill Clinton!

Monica...can you come back in a few minutes? I'm busy right now!
