difference between 3468a and 3468b
Message #1 Posted by andy on 30 May 2003, 3:34 p.m.

I just came across an hp3468b multimeter. It has HPIL ports in the back. Whats the difference between this and the well known 3468a?

I believe it is just a difference in the casing, with one being a molded plastic case intended for bench-top use, and the other more square and compatible with rack use.

Yes, I verified that in my 1986 HP catalog. A is the portable, B is the rackable. Both were $750 in 1986.
