Message #1 Posted by Cr Toloss on 8 May 2003, 11:08 p.m.

Don't know how new this is but I read it today. I've read an article about the HP-12C being redesigned. It will be in the market some time this summer. Lots of changes including Algebraic/Rpn. HP-12C PLATINUM COMING SOON ! Page

Hi; and thank you.

It's been announced here a couple of days ago. But I take your gesture as another source of "news", what shows how important it is for us all having alternative origins.

Best regards.

If you're referering to me George, and not the guy that started the thread, no I am not the seller. I posted it twice, planning on deleting the first post. I wanted to change the subject title and did not realize that you have to give a password to be able to delete your old message. I thought that all you had to give was your email address. I am sorry if my learning experience has caused you any trouble.

It's those business majors again.

They were just so enamored with their 'discovery' of the 12C calculator, in that article a few posts back.

Listen to this: 'a specialized calculator has advantages, unlike a laptop, you don't have to worry about whether its worth taking along'. OOOHH! Wow, you mean a calculator is smaller than a laptop, so maybe I would use it for things other than a laptop?

Ohh, wow, I never thought of that. I wish I had gone to business school so I could have brilliant flashes of insight like that.
