9825A <-> Hp 41CX
Message #1 Posted by olivier croissant on 21 Apr 2003, 12:27 a.m.

Hi,

I have a 9825A with a HP-IB interface, a 41CX + HP-IL and an interface HP-IL/GPIB (so ex HP-IB as I understand) I would like to communicate between both machines to exchange data. Does anyone has a clue whether I will be able to do that or not ?

The Development Utility Owner's Manual for the HP 71B (HP 82440A) available on the MoHPC CDROM, provides advice and software for the exchange of data between the HP71B and another computer over HP-IL.

Also the manual for the HP-85 HP-IL interface adapter (HP 82938A) also available on the CDROM contains HP-85 and HP 41 programs for the exchange of data (also a program to allow the built-in printer of the HP85 to be used by the HP 41).

If you want to save HP41 programs on the 9825A you will need the HP 82183 Extended IO module (one went for about $100 on eBay).
