HP97 Printer Idle Gear

I just got a 97 in good condition as a gift. The battery was shot but I have rebuilt the battery. It worked fine for a day and then the printer quit. I took it apart and found that the idle gear between the motor and the screw drive that drives the print head was stripped. I wonder where can I find the replacement gear short of getting a bad 97 to get the gear? I was pleasantly surpised that the card reader worked very well only sadden because the printer broke after 1 day of using it.
