41CV Aviation custom?
Message #1 Posted by Mike Rivera on 2 Mar 2003, 10:20 a.m.

What is this?

Did HP make special edition 41's for use in aviation?

Or did somebody else customise this?

Hi Mike,

It seems to be a custom made rom. The P3B/C is a navy airplane named Lockheed 'Orion'. Looks like this module is used to navigate and to compute airplane parameters.

I don't have a clue if it can be used in general aviation.

Regards, Arnold

The p3 is an amzing aircraft :)

I recall seeing a 41 in the hands of one of the PCs in VP24 back in the early 90s, but I think it was his personal machine, not USN hardware.
