Corrosion Cleaning Fluid Message #1 Posted by Kris Collins on 26 Jan 2003, 2:44 p.m. I am advised the the best cleaner for battery leakage is ammonia. Seems to reduce the residue that alcohol leaves behind. Anyone have different experience?

For the green copper oxidation I use isopropyl alcohol and a contact cleaner made by Caig called a Gold Pen and/or their DeOxit pen.
