Here’s the Free HP Stuff List!
Message #1 Posted by Dave Hicks on 9 Jan 2003, 7:10 p.m.

Hi everyone. The final DVD and 7 CD sets are finally done.

For those of you who contributed manual scans for CDs 6 and 7, here is a list of the items I have available. Please send me an email indicating which items you are most interested in. Please do this by assigning 100 points total to any subset of the items below. By total, I mean all of your points should add up to 100. You can assign 1 point to 100 items (in which case you'll get some random subset of those items) or you might assign 50 to one item and be very likely to get it, 30 to another and so on. I'll be deciding who gets what based on a combination of the point scores you've assigned and the amount of material you scanned versus other people with the same desires.

Please don't send me back this entire list - just trim it down to the items you have assigned points to.

Condition varies from NOS but with moderate to significant shelf wear on boxes to outright used. Some items are very heavy and I will ask you to pay the shipping. These are marked [heavy]. Some of these items have HP property tags, labels, and have words like "Technical Support" written on them. I have no idea which items work and which don't. Many of these items were known to work at some time in the past but then they were mixed together. Others came from HP or individuals who believe they worked, but I haven't tested them. Most are likely to work but everything is AS-IS. Any items, which are KNOWN to be dead, are marked.

I'll be shipping these items out anytime between now and March. There will be a lot of sorting and a lot of boxing so please be patient.

Further notes: my decisions final, not all items will be given away, not responsible for typographical errors, void where prohibited, employees of MoHPC or their families are not eligible, Rules of Acquisition may or may not apply, Odds of winning (something) approximately 1 in 1.
