i was listening to the news tonight and they had a story about ebay auctioning off the whole town of bridgeville california for $1,777,877.00. there were two noteworthy items in the broadcast:

the winning bid was placed with a half minute to go. is that a snipe?

the first bid was not by sambonator for $5.

Well, that would be the only way I would ever own a home in Kalifornia. At least if you owned the whole town, you could make reasonable laws, that weren't so liberal.

The Peoples Republik of Kalifornia has some of the most screwed up laws in the country.

Oh! And you don't know who bid. It was a private auction. Bidders names were concealed.
