Double A531D Module??? Message #1 Posted by Michel Beaulieu on 26 Nov 2002, 11:11 p.m. Hi, my father give me when he died a HP-41CX and a lot of accessories that i slowly learn about on this site and other. But there is a module name "Double" and number "A531D" that i don't know anything about: It's a silver tape on the module and not a "engraved" white encryption. Can someone tell me the purpose of this ROM... or RAM... and how to acess it??? Thanks... Michel Beaulieu, younger physic teacher than my father who normally work with TI-Graphic calculator... So excuse me if this module is well known!!! :-)

I was once told (rumor?) that double memory modules were available for the HP41C, say, two 82106A in one single case. Is it true or just a fairy tale? If no extra label appears when CAT 2 is executed with this module, I suggest testing it in an HP41C (neither CV, nor CX) and check for extra regular registers. Best regards

(Brazil) I have one of the double Extended Memory ROMs. It just says MEMORY on it. If it is a double Etended Memory Module, you can do a CATALOG 6,I think, on the 41CX and it should show a total 600 Bytes if Extended Memory is empty. It has been awhile sense I looked at the Extended Memory CATALOG.

I also made a CAT4 with the module i get 600 and without the module i get 124... Perhaps "you" can find now the utility of my module :-) Thanks for answer! I have another question; i tried to FIX the decimal with "." but nothing, FIX9 get 9 decimals, FIX0 get 0; normal you say but i hate when the diasplay is full of 0 like 0.0000 or 0.000000000. How to get all the possible decimals without all these 0 when i hit CLX?

I like to have a full display instead: CF28 (SF29) FIX9 is my standard boot procedure on a 41... Greetings, Massimo
