How repairable is this? Message #1 Posted by David Ramsey on 16 Nov 2002, 11:41 a.m. Ebay item #800562411, a 9820 desk calculator whose display shows "NOTE 1" whenever a key is pressed. Is this junk, or something I might be able to get working (I possess minor soldering skills and have replaced LED displays in some HP pocket calcs)...

Without a spare unit for parts/swapping chances of getting a dead unit working are very slim.
