HP 48s Message #1 Posted by Scuba Diver on 22 Aug 2002, 10:54 a.m. Hello everyone! In the thread regarding the closure of ACO it was mentioned that this group was responsible for re-designing some calcs (like the 12C and the 17BII) so that they could be manufactured in a more cost-effective manner. Does anyone know; is the same true for the 48G/GX? Is a new machine equivalent to older ones, or are the 48 G/GX now manufactured in China? The 12C may now be manufactured for less money, but they are also made with less quality. Thanks in advance! Brendan
