Message #1 Posted by Salome Steyn on 20 Aug 2002, 7:12 a.m.

I have a real problem with my HP28S calculator or perhaps I am just stupid, but PLEASE I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP, because on this moment I think that this is not a nice calculator!!!!!!

I want to store definitions and so on, on my calculator with formulas and graphs, PLEASE HELP......HOW DO I DO THAT!!!

I tried, and tried but most of the times it gives me a syntax error, why...

For instance :

Reverse Breakdown (RBV)

Also known as PIV

3(I1 + I2) + 2I1 = 30

CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME, AS I REALLY WANT TO USE THIS CALCULATOR BUT CAN'T, I don't want the calculator to solve the equation it must just show me the whole description with the formula like that!!!

PLEASE HELP!

Hi;

try this:

'3*(I1 + I2) + 2*I1 = 30'

You'll need explcitly to tell the calculator to multiply the numbers 3 and 2. Also, surround the equation (expression) with '. It must work.

Success.
