HP-12C Manual
Message #1 Posted by Tony on 30 July 2002, 1:11 p.m.

Hi there! Got a HP-12C without manual - where can I get one? Couldn't find it on the MoHPC CD-ROMs!! It doesn't need to be high quality, PDF with scanned-in pictures would be sufficient. I'm from Germany and I'm not sure my HP dealer sells it 12Cs at all. Tony

ebay usually has some. if you don't want to wait for an auction to end, you might check the bull cabinet. they sometimes have manuals. if none are listed, email them because i've found they don't always keep the list current. address is http://members.aol.com/tbcab/private/hewlettpackard.htm

Thanks for the info! However, I'm located in Germany and don't want to pay 10 Dollar shipping fees for a 10 Dollar manual....

I found many Hp-12 manuals in used books stores, here in Brazil. There are many financial math books that use hp-12 as tool, and explain how to use the calc. Hope that helps. Renato

This is actually a Solutions handbook -"designed to supplement the hp-12c owner´s handbook". There are no operation instructions, just usage examples.

Also - yes, I am sure there was a post with this link before.

Thank you, Renato. I had thoughten that this was "the real thing". I've never owned a 12C (thus never owned or even saw any such manuals), but the OmniGo 100 that I had for a while had a 12C emulator built-in, so I located this manual in the course of using the latter.

And of course since I was interested in solutions, it had everything (and more) that I was interested in, I never even noticed that it didn't have much on how to change the batteries, _etc._ :).

I'll amend my reference next time.

HP-12c emulator for windows includes a help file that makes a quite decent operating manual.

Thank you, Glen.

I was searching for this fella and I was not known it was available for downloading. I needed the subjects to complete some material about then HP12C. Now it is on the fly.

Maybe you posted it in a period of time I was not available to access the Museum. I really don't remember seeing it here. As Renato (e aí? Tudo bem?) mentions that it happened, so it happened. For sure.

Cheers.
