HP-95lx Prototype Message #1 Posted by Edwin Herdman on 22 July 2002, 10:24 p.m. I have acquired a prototype model HP-95lx. It is in very good condition. The OS boot indicates the project's working name by the message, "Welcome to Jaguar." Anybody interested? It is in very good condition.

Yup, Mac OS 10.2 was/is code named "Jaguar." Oddly enough, it seems to be hanging around after the product intro as the name of the product. [JamesBurkeMode] It is interesting to note that the new version of OS X includes a handwriting recognition technology which, coincidently or not, was developed for the last product released by Apple whose project code name became the product name -- the Newton.
