Re: Are collectors limited to ex-users Message #3 Posted by Vieira, Luiz C. (Brazil) on 22 July 2002, 3:56 p.m., in response to message #1 by Steve (Australia)
Hi;
since collecting HP calculators became a profitable market, mostly because of obvious reasons (quality, brand heritage, price X benefits rate, etc), I believe just a few users are fierce collectors. I cannot think of my 13 calculators as just put-to-stand and look (I remember Toy Story II). How come an HP calculator not being used? That's what they're for, Good Lord! Being used. In great style. I cannot let them stood still as statues.
That's why I believe users will seldom become collectors. I will not.
(About the big HP factory in the sky... do they accept reservations?)
