Not at all. Specially since it also included the manual, etc. I would have paid that much myself if only I had noticed the auction before it was over. Other ROMs prone to reach such heights include the PPC-ROM + manual combination and the HP-71B's Math, Forth/Assembler and 41C translator ROMs, among others. See any being auctioned recently ?

I sold my extra one on ebay three years ago for $127. Lets see ... $127 -> $396 ... that's an annual appreciation of 46.1% per year. Wow!

ZenROM yes, PPC with manual no, Forth/Translator no.

Far too high for the latter two. Top prices should be around $200 for these latter two. Just my opinion.

Would it be possible to have an exhausted list of the "woe no more available" ROMs developped by other companies than HP for the HP41 system.

I heard about PPC-Rom, ZenROM , ...

Is there other ???? With which functionalities ??? For what to do ???

It may be interesting to have these informations in the HPMuseum ....

Fred

PS: I'm only the owner of an old HP41C (in which i have solder the internal chip of a quad module to change it in a HP41CV [is it a collectable ????], a card reader (who needs maybe a repair), an X-function and two x-memories modules and the famous book of Wickes about synthetic programming ....

That's the kind of money that doesn't come your way for not taking Paypal ... :-)
