That's the rumor, but I can't even get HP's Calculator Web Store to work this AM! Still plenty out there and they will be on ebay till the cows come home, but prices will gradually increase once new supplies dry up in the next couple of years.

HP's on-line store Web site lists the HP-32SII on their "closeout" page. That's a shame -- I think it's their best-designed calculator ever.

Due to this rumor, I decided to buy a 32SII to add to my small collection (35, 55, 34C, 41C, 41CX, 42S, 48G, and 48G+). Found one Thursday for $56 at the university bookstore. It's a nice machine, like my 34C on steroids. However, I still vote for the 42S as the best of its kind.

I see that buy.com has sold out (temporary?) of the 32SII, and that their "closeout price" of $45.95 has jumped up to $51.95. So, there you have it, it is now a collectors item and the price is rising! B^)
