hp86 format files Message #1 Posted by Todd on 26 Feb 2002, 9:39 p.m. I have a bunch of data files in HP 86 format, is there any way to translate those discs into standard pc format, or any software that can read that format???

If you try it let me know the results, I have several hundred programs on tape and 5.5 diskettes I would like to save. Regards JR

Todd is asking how to access DATA within HP86 files, while JR is talking about getting stuff off the floppies. While I can't help Todd, JR can download the LIFUTIL program from the hpmuseum ftp site and use a PC to recover the files. Once this is done, if he wishes to actually recover data stored within HP-86 DATA files, he will have the same problem as Todd.
