strange ebay listing - paypal scam Message #1 Posted by Ellis Easley on 21 Jan 2002, 10:14 a.m. 1. Here is a strange ad. The description is "Lot: Calculator, Camera, Bag, Metal Chains " The calc looks like a 12c. The assortment looks like the proceeds of a robbery! http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1692144351 2. I never look at my junk e-mail, so this might have been around for a while, but today I got a chain letter which says to join PayPal and send your $5 gift to a person up the chain!
