HP12C - format problem (periods and commas)
Message #1 Posted by WD Elliott on 5 Jan 2002, 8:14 a.m.

The periods and commas have switched on my 12C and I do not know how to convert them back. Suggestions.

E.g. 12.000,00 should be 12,000.00 Thanks.

The "USA Style" (1,000,000.00) and "european style" (1.000.000,00) are selected alternatively by turning the calculator off, and then turning it on while pressing the "." (sometimes referred as decimal point, radix, or virgule) key.
