11c logo

A quick poll... both the 11c's I have owned have lost their logos, I am curious...what's rate for loss...?

It depends ... if you usually place the calculator on its original leather or plastic slip case after use, and you use it frequently, the logo will first be somewhat smeared and lose it shiny condition, then eventually will get loose and lost, as it is somewhat risen above the average level and so gets the most friction when storing/retrieving the calculator from the slip case.

I foresaw that would be the case long ago and since then I've never used the slip case, but instead place my mint, 20+ year old HP-11C in a frictionless teflon pouch, safe from dust and friction wear.

I'll recommend all series 10 owners to do likewise. Else, buy a good-quality magnifying glass, you're going to need it sooner than you think to try and find that tiny logo in your lawn.

As for your original question, I'm definitely positive that the lost logo rate is very high. Let's hope my advice serves to save some precious series 10 calcs from that dreadful fate.
