I have just heard a rumour that HP have obsoleted their IR calculator printer, HP82240B. Can anyone confirm or refute that? Does anyone know of a compatible alternative?

Thanks. Derek

Hello;

I do not know about it, but based on last events, nothing is impossible. I have an 82204B and I haven't been using it for some time, except for some specific needs.

Anyway, I'm using INPRT, a 48's SW that allows you to IR 'print' to IR 48's input sensor. It allows you to retrieve, in the 48's memory, the information sent from another calculator. This way, just download it to the computer and mannage as you wish. Eg., I use the 42's output to the 48's IR input, and all SW is already listed as doc files.

Cheers.
