HP41CX clock Y2K ready?
Message #1 Posted by Brian on 19 Sept 2001, 8:18 p.m.

Anyone have problems with your HP41CX crashing when using date related commands? Is the internal clock Y2K ready?

I have been using 1990 to keep the calendar days compatible with 2001.

my cx works fine in the new minenium. i think the calendar was good for a couple of hundred years. with reasonable care and some luck the calculator should last that long too.

Hi, my CX works without any problem. In fact, I have checked the HP Manual and it specifies:

- December 31, 2199 - for the latest system date that the internal clock can be set, and - September 10, 4320 - for the latest date to be used in a calender function.

Regards,

Erik

Don't know about the CX but my CV with time module is doing just fine.
