HP 48 G-Series Question: HMS to Degrees
Message #1 Posted by Dan on 26 July 2001, 10:03 a.m.

I currently own an HP 28S and use the conversion from hours-minutes-seconds to degrees and vice-versa. I have a 48GX and cannot find where this conversion is located. The 28S also has the ability to add and subtract in HMS units. This surely was not left out on the 48GX with its use in the surveying field. Any help is appreciated.

Dan,

It's still there (you're correct). Many functions are accessed using the screen menu labels. That particular scheme can cause a "Memory Loss" ... your's, you can't remember where the function is located!

Try the left-shift, TIME, NXT key sequence and you'll find the function.

Joe
