I would like a book on tips & tricks in general and specifically on how to best utilize the solve function. The Equation Solver (chapter 11 page 141) I'm refering to the book that comes with this calculator. What are the limitations of the solve function? A book that contains various new examples of how to create new equations that are useful in everday life & solving math problems. Thanks for any help you can offer. Mike from Toronto Ontario Canada

Michael,

There were several applications books published for the 17BII, 19BII, and 27S directed to specific areas of application. Topics include Real Estate, Personal Investment, Marketing & Sales, etc. One particularly interesting (and hard to find) manual is the Technical Applications manual, which teaches interesting tips and tricks about the solver (GET function, LET function, etc.) that are not discussed at all in the owners manuals. There is one up for auction on eBay right now, as a matter of fact (Item No. 503591449)
