71B Function Question Message #1 Posted by Mike on 7 Nov 2000, 10:32 a.m. Is there any APPT capability on the 71B like there is on the 75 series?

There is no clock in the 71, only three countdown (or up) counters. You must write your own time entry and display functions, time keeping function, alarm setting and comparision, etc.

They also have a Calendar section in the manual but I just did not find any mention of an alarm or appointment. I also noticed that there is a ((*)) annunciator for alarm like there is on other calcualtors but it is marked as "future enhancement". I guess that function might have been planned but left off. Oh well...
