Corroded Battery Contact in HP 67
Message #1 Posted by John on 28 Oct 2000, 10:13 p.m.

I recently purchased an HP-67 on Ebay with a broken battery contact spring. The positive polarity contact spring broke approximately in the middle. I don't have the part that broke off. (The negative battery contact is fine.) Is there an easy way to replace or extend the broken contact? What is the best material? What is the best way to make the connection? Thanks for your help.

Hi John, Send me your address and I will stick one in the mail for you free of charge.I will also include a short note on how to replace it. Do you have access to a solder iron? Erik
