41CV Overlay Templates
Message #1 Posted by Mike Davis on 7 Oct 2000, 11:20 a.m.

Did HP ever make an overlay template, that was identical to the keyboard backing, without an overlay?

This could come in handy when you needed to carry around an extra template for some other functions and did not want to have to remove and store the other template. You could just swap their order on the 41CV and both could always be with the 41.

If they were made, anyone know where to get one?

Yeah, I think what you're talking about are the two that came with every HP41. One beige, the other black (just like the calculator).

Ask in the classifieds, or keep an eye out on ebay.

Mine came with one that has the printing in black on a grey background. I've always used it on the calculator since the improved contrast makes it easier (at least for me) to read than the actual keyboard.
