HP-12C operation
Message #1 Posted by Ralph Hollis on 5 Oct 2000, 11:17 a.m.

I have an HP-12C that has gone into a weird mode. The decimal point and comma are inverted. A comma will show where the decimal point should be and a decimal point shows where the comma should be for thousands separation. I am told that this is European mode. That's fine, but how do I get back to standard mode??

Can anyone help?

No Panic! Turn off the 12c, press and hold the [.]Key (decimal point) and then press [ON], now it will be correct.
