Detaching the pod requires removing several screws (I don't have my 75Ds in front of me right now, so I can't tell you exactly where they are.) Make sure you don't rip any of the wires/cables that connect the pod and the calculator. I don't think that the pod and the calculator were ever meant to be separated by the end-user.
