HP 11C English Display
Message #1 Posted by Andy Reese on 3 July 2000, 12:23 p.m.

My HP11C displays in english mode and I don;t know how to change it back. The comma is where the decimal should be - driving me nuts. Can someone with a manual tell me how to change it back? Thanks.

I don't have an 11c, however the following is the sequence for a 12c; Turn OFF, hold down the . key, that is the decimal point key, and then turn ON. Hope this works for you.

take care.

rdb.

Mr. rdb is correct *A-while calc is off, press "ON" and "." simultaneously. *B-Release the "ON" and then release "." Calc should go back to decimal form. To change back to comma form repeat step A&B (same sequence)

Yes, I confirm that the ON/. sequence toggles between XXX.XXX.XXX,XXXXXX and XXX,XXX,XXX.XXXXXX mode.
