Bypass the 10 minutes auto shut-down?
Message #1 Posted by Tal on 9 Jan 2000, 8:47 a.m.

Hello everybody,

I have a little problem with a program: The problem is that when the program is running and there is no key stroke for more then 10 minutes, there is an automatic shut-down. After that, when I press the [ON] key, the program doesn't reload again correctly. Is it possible to bypass the 10 minutes auto shut-down?

Best regards, Tal.

If you are working with an HP 41 or HP 42, execute the "ON" function (it means continuous ON) to bypass the 10 minute timer. Related Items: 1) Use the "OFF" function to turn your calculator off from a running program. 2) Use "SET FLAG 11" (automatic execution flag) to make a program start running as soon as the calculator is turned on. In other models, there may be equivalent functions, I hope this may be of some help.
