Question on HP-41CV
Message #1 Posted by Dan Veeneman on 17 Dec 1999, 11:31 a.m.

I have a couple of questions regarding the HP-41CV.

Did later models always come with the Advanced Solutions Pac (Advantage module, HP 5061-7292)? If not, what is the going price for this item?

The manual and the quick reference guide that I have both have "41CVMXP" hand-written on the front. Any ideas what the "MXP" stands for?

Thanks, Dan

Hey Dan, the Advantage Pac did not come with any calculators. Currently, it can be had for appx $15-20. "MXP" could mean anything since it is hand-written. It might be an office symbol or something like that. Hope this helps, Randy

Wrong answer. The HP Advantage Module was offered free from HP with the purchase of an HP-41CX in the mid-80's. I got a dozen of them this way in 1985 or 86. They normally retailed for $75.
