Strange HP-45 back label...
Message #1 Posted by Gianmaria Porrini on 6 Nov 1999, 4:45 a.m.

Hello, I recently bought a very nice and almost unused HP-45 from a Swiss friend calculator collector and I noted its strange back instruction label... You can see it at this URL: http://utenti.tripod.it/gianmaria/45label.html Instead of usually English language it's written in German, calculator was made in USA but on the label there is "Made in Singapore 3,75 V 500 Mw", any suggestion about? Thanks!

Hello,

I have several classic calculators. ALL of them are collected in germany, so ALL of them has german language back labels. If you order an HP Calculator today you can select different options. One of them is option ABD which means "german localization". So in my opinion your HP 45 is an option ABD calculator.

BTW: Is there an japanese option also ????

Best regards

Andreas
