HP48SX in TRACE MODE Message #1 Posted by Tal on 8 June 1999, 2:39 a.m. I would like to know if there is any way to print using the HP48SX in TRACE MODE, like the HP28 what means that every keystroke goes out to the IR printer. Pages 2-53 and 2-54 show a simple example of using the "Vectored Enter" to create a trace mode. The programs are: note: I tried posting before including the program delimiters but text was then missing, so I'm omitting the program delimiters. First object: PR1 OBJ-> the program object Store this in the object named (alpha)ENTER. Make the first character the HP48 alpha character by pressing right-shift and the letter A Second object: PR1 DROP PRSTC the program object Store this in an object maned (beta)ENTER. Make the first character by pressing right-shift and B. Set flag -63 and turn-on User mode. Turn-off user mode to disable. I tried it, it works, but it is not "seamless" in the least. You may want to check-out hpcalc.org and see if a better version is available. Hope this helps, Joe
