Opening HP41 Modules Message #1 Posted by Steve on 18 Apr 1999, 8:08 a.m. I have a 82242A (IR Module) that I suspect of being partially dead. Whilst I don't intend to open it up until I'm certain it's really failty, I am interested in how I might go about opening it. It's not as simple as a screw under the label on the bottom is it? (I can't imagine it's going to be that easy)

To open, insert long nosed pliers into the contact slot on each side (avoiding contacts) and open slowly. IR modules are cheap enough, why not buy another?
