HP-97 I register problem Message #1 Posted by Jerzy Michalec on 14 Mar 1999, 2:58 p.m. My HP-97 is not storing data in I register. If somebody can tell me,which IC or part of the calculator is sick?, or if can be fixed?.

If you have the standard applications pac 1 there is a 'test&diagnostic' function which you could use. Perhaps more likely the key is not working due to dirt or some mechanical problem?

Its just I cant believe that a whole memory would fail, maybe bits of it so that the number stored is not the number recalled, but the whole thing?
